You need to move freight from point A to B. How do you do it? The
process can be complex and with many options. Wether you have a
manufatcuring operation or need to move a few personal items, a
freight forwarder is often a good way to farm-out this process.
First you will need trucking to the air or sea port. Freight forwarders
have special discount rates with trucking companies. Paperwork must
be prepared for pickup and delivery of the goods (bill of lading
or airwaybill).
For trucking LTL Less than Truck Load
For smaller shipments the freight is coloaded in a sea container
20' or 40'. This is LCL (Less than Container Load.)
FCL Is a Full Container Load.
